Quantum Break for Xbox One to cross 120GB, but only if you want it to

Quantum Break is easily the most anticipated game to hit Microsoft devices this year. Remedy Entertainment, Quantum Break’s developer had dropped hints earlier that the entire game would be too large to download, and that cut-scene content would bestreamed while playing the game.
Gamers did raise a hue and cry about it and it’s nice to see that Remedy has remedied the problem (slow clap) by allowing Xbox One users to download the so-called “Episode Pack.” The pack essentially contains all the videos needed for the cut-scenes on Xbox One (1080p only), but comes in a hefty, 75GB package. The game itself is expected to be another 60GB, meaning that you need to prepare for a 120GB+ download on your Xbox One.
Remedy says that the cut-scene bundle is so large owing to the nature of the game, wherein the cut-scenes play out organically depending on your actions. Considering that a great many people are on limited data packs and the fact that the disk version of the game will not include the “Episode Pack,” users are in for a massive download. If nothing else, it’s high time you did some house-cleaning on the Xbox One to clear up sufficient space.
One wonders what the fate of PC users is to be, considering that they’re going to benefit from 4K video. Hopefully, PC users will also get the option to pre-load the massive data dump long before the game releases, which is 5 April 2016.
